It should be clear to everyone that trust in your wedding photographer is priority number one. So I'll never take it for granted when a couple puts that trust in me. Because of that trust and the respect required to be a wedding photographer, it's important for me to not only show but also say out loud that everyone is welcome here. I'd always considered myself an "LGBTQ+ friendly" wedding photographer, but it was honestly a long time before same-sex couples started getting in touch. Because, like any other couple, it's not really up to me to decide. As always, I'm psyched whenever anyone asks me to be a part of their wedding day.
