I think it's fair to say that 2020 was...a lot. But if parenthood and nearly a decade of wedding photography has taught me anything it's that flexibility is the most valuable skill.

Analog

Nearly every wedding we had scheduled for the Spring and Summer was rescheduled or slightly postponed. So to say I had some free time is an understatement. I took some of that time to check back in with my guiding light: Film. My whole process is designed to emulate the way film works. The colors, the lightness, the texture. All of it. So, every once and while, I take time to recalibrate.

Silver Linings

Honestly, once we learned how to move around safely in the world things became quite simple and even preferable! Anywhere was a great location for an engagement session. Streets were clear and parks were uncrowded. A wedding photographer's dream, really.
